Week 5/5 - 5/9

This week wasn't really an exciting week however I did get to work on a couple things. First I got my new design for my wing all cut out of cardboard and taped up. The wing is significantly taller than the first version and in my opinion it looks better. The straighter lines and taller height makes it more visible which I think is for the better.

Then after doing that I decided to start working on a little mini project. I'm unsure if I am actually going to go through with making it but I thought it was an interesting enough idea to at least model out. The idea was a light for my mirror because my room only has 2 light sources so my idea was to mount another light on top of my mirror with this flashlight I found on amazon. I also fixed my belt because the belt buckle just completely snapped off so I used some JB weld and got it back on there.

The next day I was given an idea from Mr. Heinegg. He wanted someone to model and make a design for something he had thought of. He calls it The Breader and his idea was that when people are deep frying stuff they typically have 3 separate bowls one for the dry mix, one for flour, and another for the wet mix. His idea was basically to design a tray with three bowls in it so its all combined in one to keep things simple.

I made the first design for his idea and it came out about how you would expect it to. It's not very complex it's 3 bowls and a tray so I got it all modeled and made a drawing of it and tried to go up to talk to him about the design but every time I did he wasn't there.

Because I couldn't talk to Mr. Heinegg yet I just decided to design another version of The Breader that I just called the mini. I made it 3/4 the size of the original design and it is far simpler because it is literally just 3 bowls connected together.
