This week has not been too crazy of a week because I was mostly doing designing. First I was modeling a new brake pedal in fusion relearning the sheet metal stuff in fusion and I got a design modeled up. The idea behind it is that I was just going to take one long piece of metal and bolt it onto the old pedal and then bend it up and around to the other side.
But then I came up with a better design which wouldn't have required any bending and also I don't think the bends I designed into the old brake pedal would have been able to be bent anyway. The new design just takes two separate pieces of sheet metal and bolts them onto both sides of the brake pedal and this design will be much simpler to assemble.
Then I was prepping for the school science fair. We had to remake our poster board because our first poster board was assembled in the back of Scotts car and looked atrocious. I just used the backside of our old poster and glued and taped the new stuff on there it wasn't complex it just took some time. Thursday I was not in shop at all due to the science fair taking the whole day.

We did however return to shop to find that the roll bar was welded onto the shopping cart and it does not look bad. We are very pleased with the work done on it and soon we will get the supports for the roll bar welded on. Hopefully next week the roll cage will be done and the new brake pedal assembled and the cart will be ready to leave the shop.
