Week 2/5-2/9

This week was again a fairly productive week. I started off by modeling my Mario animation and then doing a test print to see how it came out but unfortunately the print did not come out looking well due to the fact that the print was way too tiny to actually come out looking any good. So I resorted to laser cutting Mario out of wood which came out much better than the print because the laser cutter was much more precise. My LED driver also came in so I wired that up.

I then milled my LED panel from last week so I could begin soldering the LEDs but then the cut failed because there was something wrong with the file but then I went in an managed to fix it and when I re-milled it I got to solder on the LEDs.

After testing I saw that the LEDs were incredibly bright so I look forward to next week when I have all the panels milled and soldered ready to strobe.
