This week I had one main focus in mind which was animating a new animation for my zoetrope. After last week where I wasted a lot of time trying to animate in blender I was determined to complete it in fusion 360 this week. I modeled all the 16 cubes in a circle shrinking and then growing back for the animation to loop. Each facial expression was very important to the animation and when I was doing my test prints I realized that the smiles on the faces would be difficult to print. The top of the mouth would droop and then cause a V shape to form with the mouth making the whole print look messy.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have sorted out the problem with the prints in some sort of way. Either changing the print orientation or by changing the model itself. The dream is to have all the cubes printed by tomorrow and attached to the disk. At least for now the animation is technically complete. Can only see how things play out next week.
